PHENOIX (Diya TV) – In Arizona, a community is mourning and coming out to support several Indian families torn apart after three parents died after falling through the ice on a frozen lake. Officials identified the victims as Narayana Rao Muddana, Haritha Muddana, and Gokul Mediseti. More than half a million dollars has been raised for the children left behind.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraba has passed away at the age of 100. She was hospitalized with an illness earlier this week. The Indian prime minister often visited his mother to seek her blessings on important occasions and festivals.
U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter Haas was forced to end his meeting in the country earlier than expected because of concerns triggered by the gathering of some ruling party supporters nearby. Haas was meeting with families who’s loved ones vanished mysteriously off the streets. Bangladesh’s home minister says there was no lapse in security.
