SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Wipro, a leading technology services and consulting company, has appointed Srini Pallia as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director, effective immediately. Pallia, who succeeds Thierry Delaporte, will lead the company as it embarks on its next phase of growth and innovation.
With over three decades of experience at Wipro, Pallia most recently served as the CEO for Americas one, the company’s largest and fastest-growing strategic market. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership by driving growth strategies across diverse industry sectors, solidifying Wipro’s position in the market.
Rishad Premji, Chairman of Wipro Ltd., expressed confidence in Pallia’s ability to lead the company forward, citing his client-centric approach, growth mindset, and strong execution focus. Pallia’s deep institutional knowledge and track record of navigating technological shifts make him an ideal choice to guide Wipro into its next chapter of success.

Pallia, who holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s in management studies from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Leading Global Businesses executive program and the Advanced Leadership Program at McGill Executive Institute.
Thierry Delaporte, who led Wipro through a period of significant transformation, will continue until the end of May to ensure a smooth transition. Delaporte’s contributions have positioned Wipro for future success, providing Pallia with a solid foundation to build upon.

Srini will be based in New Jersey and report to Chairman Rishad Premji.
