WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — The Trump administration has kicked off what it terms the “largest massive deportation operation in history” in its ongoing crackdown against illegal immigration. Deportation flights have already begun, and hundreds of illegal immigrants are already being apprehended, including gang members and an alleged terrorist. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the operation, tweeting on X, “Promises made.”. Promises kept. President Trump sends a strong clear message to all of the world: if you cross illegally into the United States, you will face severe consequences.
India reaffirmed it is committed to eradicating illegal immigration, with the Ministry of External Affairs of New Delhi declaring itself against the process of illegal immigration, notably with its connivance with organized criminal groups. MeA spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal claimed India would engage in making it possible for its citizens staying illegally either in the US or any other country to go back home and also only upon verifying their citizenship.
Jaiswal referred to the strength of India-U.S. relations and assured that India is in close communication with the U.S. government on immigration issues. He said External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar had made a mention of visa delays during a discussion with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
This deportation operation has already resulted in more than 2000 arrests.
