HOUSTON (Diya TV) – The Indian American community in Texas is reeling after burglars broke into a Hindu temple and stole the donation box. The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating the burglary at Shri Omkarnath Temple. The incident was captured by security cameras inside the temple. The priest and his family live in an apartment right behind the temple but were not harmed.

In California, seven people were killed in a mass shooting that spanned two separate scenes in Half Moon Bay according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities identified the suspect as 67-year-old Chunli Zhao. He was taken into custody without incident after he was found in his vehicle with a semi-automatic handgun.
