SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – After being criticized for being too soft on China, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is now saying the golden era between the UK and and Chinese government is over, saying there will be a new approach. The British Indian says it’s hard to ignore China’s human rights abuses and significance in world affairs. Sunak says the Asian superpower poses systemic challenges to England’s values and interests.
Indian American surgeon Dr. Ankit Bharat and his team at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago performed the first ever lung and liver transplant at the same time, saving the life of the patient.
Advocacy group SOAR released a new study showing 48 percent of South Asians experience some form of gender based violence and rates of sexual assaults for the group is as high as 85 percent.
