NEW YORK (Diya TV) — Sriman Roshan Kolli, an Indian-origin financial analyst, has been selected to participate in the 86th Know India Program (KIP), the Consulate General of India in New York announced. The program, scheduled from Jan. 9 to Jan. 26, is designed to connect young members of the Indian diaspora with India’s culture, history, and development initiatives.
The Know India Program is an initiative by the Government of India. It aims to introduce young people of Indian origin to the country’s rich heritage, governance systems, and modern development projects. Since its launch in 2003, KIP has attracted hundreds of participants from around the world.
Deputy Consul General Vishal Harsh recently met Kolli in New York. He conveyed his best wishes ahead of the program. Kolli will join other young professionals in exploring India’s diverse states, visiting institutions, and engaging with local youth organizations. Participants gain firsthand insight into India’s evolving social and economic landscape.
Sriman Roshan Kolli has built a strong foundation in finance and business management. According to his LinkedIn profile, he worked as an intern in Hyderabad, India, with Evoke Technologies and AheadRace Inc. in 2019. During this time, he gained experience in finance, accounting, human resources, and design solutions.
Kolli completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2024. After graduation, he worked as a financial analyst for Xcurve Financials in New Jersey from May 2023 to May 2025. His professional background reflects a blend of global exposure and practical experience. This makes him well-prepared to understand and contribute to discussions on India’s development during the KIP.
During the program, Kolli will visit several Indian states. He will interact with government officials, business leaders, and local communities. These visits will provide him with a comprehensive understanding of India’s culture and economy.
KIP encourages participants to engage with youth organizations and educational institutions.
