WASHINGTON DC (Diya TV) — President Joe Biden nominated several new US attorneys in different parts of the country including Indian American Sopen Shah for the Western District of Wisconsin, which covers Madison. Shah is currently in private practice at a law firm but once served as deputy solicitor general of Wisconsin.
President Biden signed what he described as “long overdue” legislation that could help establish a National Museum of Asian American and Pacific Islander History and Culture. It would be based in Washington D.C. and the bill will examine how to make the museum a reality and whether to make it part of the Smithsonian Institution.
