WASHINGTON DC (Diya TV) — The Senate narrowly approved President Joe Biden’s pick to run the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. As the new director, Indian American Rohit Chopra is expected to be an aggressive “watchdog,” similar to how the agency operated under former President Barack Obama.

Bail was denied for Aryan Khan son of Bollywood movie star Shah Rukh Khan. The 23 year old and some friends were busted on a boat during what’s being called a rave party. Authorities say all kinds of drugs were found hidden in clothes and purses. Khan is expected to be in court for another hearing later this week.
