Scientists say the N440K variant which wrecked havoc in South India last year is now fading and expected to go away soon. Researchers have debunked the rumors that this variant of coronavirus is more dangerous than others.
Former Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed is recovering after nearly being killed in a bomb blast near his home. The explosion took place when Nasheed was about to get into his car. Authorities say it was an Improvised Explosive Device that went off. It’s unclear if it was intended for Nasheed and remains under investigation.
