SACRAMENTO (Diya TV) — California Democrats picked Silicon Valley Congressman Ro Khanna to lead the state’s delegation along with Oakland Rep. Barbara Lee and Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis at the Democratic National Convention in August. Typically, the state governor would lead the delegation, but Gov. Gavin Newsom was not picked after activists implored that supporters of California’s primary winner Sen. Bernie Sanders be picked.

A couple of Indian American political veterans are joining Vice President Biden’s team. Gautam Raghavan is joining Biden’s presidential transition team. Medha Raj will be Biden’s digital chief of staff.
President Trump tweeted out a video of his supporters saying “white power,” only to delete it after a huge outcry. His press secretary claims Trump watched the video before retweeting it, but didn’t hear the man in it say “white power.”
