WAHINGTON, DC (Diya TV) – President Biden and Prime Minister Modi concluded their two-day summit by meeting with senior officials and CEOs of American and Indian companies to discuss innovation, investment and manufacturing in technology sectors. Among those on hand for these high level talks were Indian business leaders Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Group and Anand Mahindra from Mahindra. Satya Nadella of Microsoft and Sundar Pichai of Google were joined by NASA Astronaut Sunita Williams and Apple CEO Tim Cook. Pichai announced Google is investing $10 billion in India’s digitization fund.

Modi’s day at the White House wrapped with a State Department luncheon hosted by Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, attended by a number of prominent business leaders from the U.S. and India.

And before embarking on a trip to Egypt, Prime Minister Modi spoke to the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum at the Kennedy Center, along with former Cisco CEO John Chambers and Secretary of State Blinken. His final stop was at the Reagan Center for what could be considered a campaign speech to his base of supporters in the United States at an event organized by the US Indian Community Foundation.
