BERKELEY, Calif. (Diya TV) — Manish Chandra, Poshmark founder and CEO, will give the keynote speech at the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business commencement ceremony for the Full-Time MBA and Evening & Weekend MBA Class of 2025. The ceremony will take place on May 23.
Chandra, a Haas Evening & Weekend MBA graduate, has profoundly impacted the landscape of e-commerce by marrying shopping with social networking. In just five years, since launching Poshmark in 2011, he has built it into a prominent social marketplace that harmoniously marries the personal touch of shopping at brick-and-mortar stores with the ease and breadth of online commerce.
Before Poshmark, Chandra co-founded Kaboodle, an online shopping site that was acquired by Hearst Communications in 2007. His experience also includes executive positions at Sybase, Versant, and Versata. Along with his MBA from Haas, Chandra has an MS in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
The 2025 graduation ceremony will also have other notable speakers, such as Patty Juarez of Wells Fargo and Malini Singh of Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
