WASHINGTON D.C. (Diya TV) – A federal jury has convicted three former Outcome Health executives for their role in a $1 billion corporate fraud scheme, including Indian American former CEO Rishi Shah and former company president Shradha Agarwal. Officials say the Chicago-based health technology startup sold advertising inventory they did not have, inflated metrics and under-delivered on advertising campaigns.

Indian Americans protested at Congressman Ro Khanna’s town hall in Fremont about the proposed SB403 caste bill authored by California State Senator Aisha Wahab. Khanna said he doesn’t comment on state legislation, but hoped it would be crafted in such a way that does not have “unfair enforcement or targeting of individuals.” The co-chair of the House India Caucus also fielded questions about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom Khanna said is scheduled to visit Washington this summer for an official state dinner hosted by President Biden.
