BALTIMORE (Diya TV) — Authorities in Maryland are still searching for the person who fatally shot an Indian tech worker in the head. Investigators say 25 year old Nakka Sai Charan was found slumped over the wheel of his SUV last month after dropping off a friend at the airport. Authorities say Charan is from the Telangana region of India. The motive remains unclear.

Twitter is now suing the Indian government over what the company calls a “violation of free speech.” The social media company says Indian officials are forcing them to take down certain tweets, especially ones from certain political parties. Critics argue the tweets were objectionable only because they denounced the Indian government’s policies and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Aga Khan Museum in Ottawa Canada is apologizing to Hindus around the world for a controversial movie poster displayed during a film festival.  They received multiple complaints from leaders of the Hindu community who alleged it showed Hindu deities in a disrespectful manner. There were also calls for the filmmaker Leena Manimekalai to be arrested.
