SAN MATEO, Calif. (Diya TV) — An Indian American family of four was discovered dead inside their residence in San Mateo, California, in an apparent murder-suicide. The deceased were identified as 42 year old Anand Henry, his wife 40 year old Alice Priyanka, and their four-year-old twin boys, Noah and Nathan.

Anand, had recently resigned from Google to embark on a new entrepreneurial venture. His wife Alice was a software engineer as well. Alice’s mother, Juliet, departed on a return flight to India on February 11 after spending time with the family in California.

The San Mateo Police Department received a distress call prompting a welfare check on the family. Upon arrival, authorities found the four deceased individuals inside the home, but there were no indications of forced entry. While investigators initially suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, subsequent findings revealed no evidence of gas leakage or malfunctioning appliances.

Police disclosed that the parents were discovered with gunshot wounds in a bathroom, alongside a 9mm pistol and a loaded magazine. However, the cause of the twin boys’ death remains under investigation, but sources say they were poisoned.

The family relocated to San Mateo County two years ago to pursue their respective careers.
