NEW DELHI (Diya TV) — A close call for Pakistan. India admits to accidentally firing a missile into it’s bordering neighbor this week because of a “technical malfunction” during routine maintenance. Military experts have warned of the risk of accidents or miscalculations by the nuclear-armed neighbors, which have fought three wars and engaged in numerous smaller armed clashes, usually over the disputed territory of Kashmir.
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris says the U.S. and Poland remain “united” in their support for Ukraine, despite the Pentagon’s rejection of the Polish government’s fighter jets proposal. Harris also thanked American and Polish service members before departing the region.
33-year-old Indian doctor was killed in Washington DC after carjackers ran him over with his own vehicle as his girlfriend watched the tragedy unfold in horror. Rakesh Patel was was a doctor at MedStar Washington Hospital Centre and was training as a critical care fellow. The suspects are still on the run.
