WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) has appointed Prabhakar Raghavan, Chief Technologist at Google, to its Board of Directors.

Raghavan, a renowned authority on search algorithms and AI brings a wealth of technical expertise and leadership to the USISPF board. His appointment underscores the growing significance of technology in the US-India strategic partnership.

USISPF President, Dr. Mukesh Aghi, pointed out that cooperation in critical and emerging technologies, including AI, would drive the bilateral relationship forward. He added that Raghavan’s expertise will be crucial in India’s digital transformation and the development of the digital trade economy between the two nations.

USISPF Chairman John Chambers also welcomed Raghavan’s appointment, emphasizing the role of tech companies in fostering innovation and growth. He noted that AI presents a significant opportunity for US-India collaboration.
