Desai, 40, who parted ways with the Eagles following a challenging season, will bring his expertise to the Rams’ defensive unit. Despite a promising start with the Eagles, Desai faced setbacks, ultimately leading to his departure from Philadelphia.
The Rams, coming off a solid 2023 season where they reached the playoffs as a wildcard team, opted to bolster their coaching staff by adding Desai. He is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the Rams’ defensive strategy.
Desai’s coaching journey has seen him traverse various NFL teams, including stints with the Chicago Bears and the Seahawks before his tenure with the Eagles.
One of Desai’s standout performances during the 2023 season came against the Rams in a Week 5 matchup at SoFi Stadium, where the Eagles emerged victorious, holding the Rams to just 249 total yards.
