SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – Pakistan’s major cities were again hit by deadly riots and disorder as a court in the capital Islamabad ordered former Prime Minister Imran Khan to be held in custody for eight days on corruption charges. Army troops have deployed on the streets of two of the country’s biggest provinces amid the chaos sparked by the former leader’s arrest. 

In New York, Governor Kathy Hochul signed a resolution naming April as Sikh Awareness Month in the state. She says “Sikhs have been living in the U.S. for more than 100 years, and have made substantial contributions to the social, cultural, and economic vibrancy of the country.”

Another Hindu temple vandalized in Australia, a BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Western Sydney’s Rosehill suburb came under attack by Khalistan supporters on Friday. This is just the latest attack in the past few months on Hindu temples by Khalistani sympathizers.
