Diya TV will host the Cupertino Residents Forum for a televised conversation on Sept. 7 featuring the candidates vying for a Cupertino City Council seat. The hour-long forum is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. at the Cupertino Senior Center and will provide the opportunity for each qualified candidate to address issues facing Cupertino.
The forum audience is open to current residents of Cupertino, as well as current parents of the Cupertino Union School District (CUSD) and Fremont Union High School Board ( FUHSD). The forum is not open to past or future residents of Cupertino, nor to past or future parents of the school districts.
Residents and parents who are interested in attending can RSVP and submit questions to be read by the moderator during the event.
The forum will be moderated by Diya TV & Major Market Broadcasting Founder & CEO Ravi Kapur, who has conducted debates in recent years in San Jose, Santa Clara and San Ramon.
The forum will be broadcast locally on Diya TV on KAAP Channel 24.1, Vietbay TV on KAAP Channel 24.5, and Estrella TV Area de la Bahia on KMMC Channel 30.1 over-the-air and will be available through Diya TV’s various digital platforms.
