SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Diya TV) — The Sacramento Kings hosted their fourth annual Bollywood Night as they took on the Golden State Warriors. With the NBA eying further global expansion, all eyes were focused on California’s capitol city Sunday night as the Sacramento Kings, facing off against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, hosted the organization’s fourth annual Bollywood Night.

It’s become an annual celebration of sports, community and culture, and a partnership with a major North American sports franchise serves as a source of pride for Sacramento’s growing Desi community. The event was preceded by a message from Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, as well as a welcome message from some of the team’s players:

The fourth installment in its inception, Sunday’s edition of Bollywood Night was the first hosted at the team’s brand new arena, the Golden 1 Center. Indian-American singer and songwriter Mickey Singh performed during halftime:

Not only was the starting lineup announced in Hindi, the game was live streamed in India. The Warriors topped the Kings 117-106 and will host their own Bollywood Night in Oakland in March.
