SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed global and regional developments in a meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden at the G20 summit in Indonesia. They discussed the deepening India-U.S. strategic partnership. Modi also exchanged courtesies with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the end of a G20 dinner. Modi also recently met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
President Biden and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will also meet face to face for the first time this week at the G20 summit where both Ukraine as well as a potential bilateral gas deal will be on the agenda.
The last co-conspirators jailed for the 1991 assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi have been released from prison. The Supreme Court says the six convicts were released after serving more than 30 years and also cited their satisfactory behavior behind bars.
