WILMINGTON, Delaware (Diya TV) — Former Vice President Joe Biden and California Senator Kamala Harris delivered remarks in their first joint press conference in Biden’s home state of Delaware. They will be formally nominated next week as the Democratic ticket challenging President Trump in November. Biden lauded Harris as the child of “America’s story” who fought for the working class and was ready to take on their opponents in this “life-changing election.”
And Harris presented Biden as a selfless leader ready to take on President Trump in November.
A key demographic both the Trump and Biden campaigns will make an effort to appeal to in the coming weeks are Indian American voters in Pennsylvania and Michigan. The number of voters of Indian descent in those states are greater in 2020 than Trump’s margin of victory four years ago. And with Harris now in the race, political analysts say Indian Americans will be a determining factor in the outcome.
