Authorities in Santa Clara County say they have charged Lathan Johnson with anti-Hindu hate crimes and robberies after a two-month spree targeting at least 14 South Asian women. Police say in nearly every case, they were always wearing a sari, bindi, or other types of ethnic attire.
Canadian authorities have denied any vandalism at a recently unveiled park named ‘Shri Bhagavad Gita’ in Ontario. The High Commission of India in Canada initially believed vandals may have removed the name of the park off a sign.
