INDIANAPOLIS (Diya TV) – Tragedy in the water…authorities say two Indian American friends drowned in a lake outside of Indianapolis. 19 year old Siddhant Shah and 20 year old Aryan Vaidya went swimming with a group of friends but did not resurface. Their bodies were eventually recovered. Both attended Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business.

Tributes are pouring in for Pakistani-Canadian writer Tarek Fatah who died at the age of 73. Fatah was known for his progressive views on Islam and his fiery stance on Pakistan. He called himself an ‘Indian born in Pakistan’ and a ‘Punjabi born into Islam’. He migrated to Canada in the early 1980s and worked as a political activist, journalist, and television host.

A chapter closed on cable news as CNN fired Don Lemon and Fox News parted ways with Tucker Carlson. Both personalities were constantly in the spotlight and scrutinized for their controversial takes on politics and social issues.
