SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Two Online retailers based in the U.S. have recently came under scrutiny for branding products with images of Hindu religious symbols and deities.Diya TV reported on the matter on February 23rd. YesWeVibe.com has since issued an apology and discontinued items. Responding to Diya TV’s Facebook post Yes We Vibe wrote:
“ Hi everyone! We sincerely apologize for this issue and we appreciate you for bringing up this concern to us. Please be informed that we have already removed all our shoes with OM designs to show respect to our Hindu brothers and sisters. We hope this finds you well. Thanks!”
