CUPERTINO, Calif. (Diya TV) —
Diya TV played host to the Cupertino Residents Forum, a televised conversation on September 7th with six of the seven the candidates vying for a Cupertino City Council seat. The 70 minute long forum was held at the Cupertino Senior Center and provided the opportunity for each qualified candidate to address issues facing Cupertino.
The forum was moderated by Diya TV & Major Market Broadcasting Founder & CEO Ravi Kapur, who has conducted a number of debates in the Bay Area in recent years, and featured Claudio Bono, Barry Chang, Kitty Moore, Rod Sinks, R. “Ray” Wang and Gilbert Wong. Hung Wei was invited, but was unable to attend for health reasons. On September 17th, Wei announced she was suspending her campaign to focus on her recovery from Stage 4 lung cancer.
The forum was broadcast locally on Diya TV on KAAP Channel 24.1, Vietbay TV on KAAP Channel 24.5, and Estrella TV Area de la Bahia on KMMC Channel 30.1 over-the-air and is available through Diya TV’s various digital platforms, including on our YouTube channel.
