Furthermore, he confirmed that no Americans suffered injuries in the attack.
In addition, Trump wrote on his social media account that Iran’s response was “very weak.” Moreover, he added that U.S. forces handled it extremely well. Consequently, Trump hoped this brief exchange would help ease tensions. Going forward, he also hoped both sides could move toward “peace and harmony in the region.”
Trump emphasized that no American troops or assets suffered serious harm. In fact, he wrote, “I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed.” Importantly, advance warnings from Iran also played a key role. Specifically, they gave U.S. forces time to prepare, which ultimately helped protect lives and equipment.
Trump also thanked Iran for providing early notice. As a result, U.S. and allied troops took cover and activated their defenses before the missiles hit. Therefore, this quick action prevented deaths and major destruction.
