SRINAGAR, India (Diya TV) — US President Trump and Indian Prime Minister Modi shared New Year’s Greetings in their first call of the year. Their talk was largely over Iran, the Middle East and India’s stake and concerns in the region. With things in flux, India sought to gain insight on what the U.S. game plan will be moving forward.
Imran Chishti, the man leading the protest at #NankanaSahib, one of the Sikh communities most important holy sites, was arrested by Pakistani officials for his role in the unrest. His arrest comes shortly after he apologized for leading an angry group of Muslims to threaten the historic structure where Guru Nanak was born.
CNN contributor Wajahat Ali shared a video showing his 3-year-old daughter and “warrior princess” Nusayba running into the arms of her liver donor in a hospital hallway while wearing a red superhero cape. Ali wrote, “After 9 months of enduring stage 4 liver cancer, she is officially cancer free. I’m so proud of her. She is the bravest person I know.”
