WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — President Trump announced his 2020 reelection campaign related entities, along with the Republican National Committee, raised $105 million in the second quarter alone. The campaign already had $100 million cash on hand, making it clear fundraising by both parties for the Presidential election will likely break all records.

The Supreme Court last week blocked the Trump administration from adding a question of citizenship on the upcoming census. The Department of Justice confirmed the Trump administration will move forward with printing the 2020 census without that controversial citizenship question, which opponents said was designed to depress response rates in immigrant communities.

The U.S. Senate passed a provision putting India on par with U.S. NATO allies. Introduced by Senate India Caucus Co-Chairs John Cornyn and Mark Warner, the amendment allows increased U.S.-India defense cooperation in the Indian Ocean in areas of humanitarian assistance, counterterrorism, counter-piracy and maritime security.

And the Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba is offering scholarships to deserving students of Sikh heritage in honor of the 50th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 60 students in total from the U.S., Canada and India will get 50% waived from their tuition because of this program.
