WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has mounted an attack against Democratic rival Hillary Clinton over donations that were made to her family foundation, alleging she received funds from Indian political leaders and institutions to support the U.S.-Indo civil nuclear deal.

Trump’s camp recently released the information in the form of a 35-page booklet, however, the allegations include no new information as the issue has been discussed publicly for a matter of years.

Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has for years refuted the allegations.

In a statement, the Trump campaign said the information provided includes an in-depth summary of the top 50 facts about Clinton’s record, detailed by the Republican candidate during his last major speech in his home state of New York.

Citing a report from the New York Times, Trump alleges that as early as 2008, Clinton received donations ranging from $1 million to $5 million from Indian politician Amar Singh. The donations were made to the Clinton Foundation.

“Singh visited the U.S. in September 2008 to lobby for a deal allowing India to obtain civilian nuclear technology; then-Sen. Clinton assured him Democrats would not block the deal,” the Trump camp said.

It further alleged that in 2008, the Confederation of Indian Industry gave around a half-million to $1 million to the Clinton Foundation. Additionally, the booklet said Indian American Raj Fernando was appointed to the State Department’s International Security Advisory Board by Clinton’s chief of staff Cheryl Mills at her urging.

Fernando, Trump alleged, has donated between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation. Trump alleged Clinton’s foreign policy has cost America thousands of lives and trillions of dollars — and unleashed ISIS across the world.
