ABU DHABI, U.A.E. (Diya TV) — Thousands of devotees attended the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi at the weekend to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Lord Ram and Lord Swaminarayan. The celebrations included a series of devotional and cultural activities, highlighting the virtues and teachings of these holy beings.
The day commenced with soulful Ram bhajans from 9 a.m. to noon, creating an atmosphere of spiritual reflection. At noon, the Shri Ram Janmotsav Aarti was performed, a sacred ritual honoring Lord Ram’s birth.
A cultural presentation near the temple’s Ganga Ghat followed, during which youth performers showcased traditional dances depicting significant moments from Lord Ram’s life. These performances highlighted his righteousness, compassion, and devotion, captivating the audience.
The night was spent honoring Lord Swaminarayan’s birthday anniversary. The Shri Hari Janmotsav Aarti ceremony was conducted, preceded by a gathering that emphasized his principles of devotion, harmony, and service.
Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, the spiritual head of the Mandir, commented on the event’s significance, saying, “The celebrations saw a huge number of devotees and tourists converging in devotion to Lord Ram and Bhagwan Swaminarayan. This religious congregation was a source of peace, unity, and eternal Hindu values, resonating across borders.”
