Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will meet with Hindu-American supporters during a September event in New Jersey.
SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to address his Hindu-American supporters during a Sept. 24 event in New Jersey, however, he will also meet privately with Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Ameesha Patel and singer Kanika Kapoor.
Prabhu Dheva and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will also meet with the billionaire real estate mogul.
The function, which is being hosted by the Republican Hindu Coalition, said on their official Facebook page that Shahid, Malaika, Kanika, Prabhu Dheva and Sri Sri will perform at the event. Money raised from the event will go directly towards the benefit of victims of terrorism, particularly Kashmiri Pandits and Hindu refugees from Bangladesh, the coalition said.
Trump is scheduled to be at the event for four hours, Republican Hindu Coalition founder and Illinois businessman Shalabh Kumar said. More than 25,000 Hindu-Americans are scheduled to attend the event, he added.
