CHICAGO (Diya TV) — Molson Coors Beverage Company has named Rahul Goyal as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. The announcement came on Sept. 22 and follows a unanimous decision by the company’s Board of Directors. Goyal will officially assume the role on Oct. 1, taking over from Gavin Hattersley, who will continue in an advisory role through the end of 2025 to support a smooth transition.
Rahul Goyal has been with Molson Coors for 24 years, holding senior positions across information technology, finance, and strategy. Before being named CEO, he served as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer.
Goyal began his career in Golden, Colorado, at Coors Brewing Company. He has also held leadership positions globally, including Chief Information Officer for Molson Coors in the U.K. and Chief Financial Officer for Molson Coors in India.
A graduate of the University of Mysore, Goyal has focused on expanding the company’s portfolio and connecting with more consumers during a variety of occasions. His work as Chief Strategy Officer has positioned him as a key driver of growth for the company.
David Coors, Chair of Molson Coors’ Board, said Goyal is the ideal choice to lead the company into its next chapter. “After conducting an extensive and thorough CEO succession process that included evaluating internal and external candidates, it was clear that Rahul brought the right experience and vision to drive the next phase of growth for Molson Coors,” Coors said.
He added, “Rahul has strong institutional knowledge from his time with the company, and he is eager to bring new thinking with a focus on future growth. The entire Board is confident that Rahul’s leadership will drive long-term results for Molson Coors.”
