DALLAS (Diya TV) — Authorities killed a British man of Pakistani descent accused of taking hostages at a Texas synagogue.  44-year-old Malik Faisal Akramand died after a stand-off with police.  All the hostages made it out safely. President Joe Biden said that the incident was an “act of terror” and condemned antisemitism.

Billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya triggered a backlash on social media after saying “nobody cares” about the ongoing human rights abuses against the Uyghur Muslims in China. Palihapitiya also owns 10% of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
