NEW YORK (Diya TV) – The lawyer who made headlines when she firebombed a New York Police Department cruiser was sentenced to 15 months in prison after the Biden administration pressed the court to go below the sentencing guidelines of 10 years for such a crime. Pakistani American Urooj Rahman threw a Molotov cocktail into the police vehicle and her attorneys say one of the reasons for her actions was the result of being bullied after the September 11th attacks for being Muslim.
In their first face to face meeting, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his first visit to Kyiv. Sunak pledged nearly $60 million in defense spending to aid Ukraine’s effort to defend itself against the Russian invasion.
