SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – Future First Lady Melania Trump and her son Barron will not be moving to the White House when President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in next year, according to a report from the New York Post.

Trump’s 46-year-old wife and 10-year-old son will remain in the ivory confines of their Midtown Manhattan penthouse so that Barron can continue attending his Upper West Side private school, the report said.

“Melania is extremely close to Barron, and they have become closer during the campaign,” a source reportedly told the Post. “The campaign has been difficult for Barron, and she is really hoping to keep disruption to a minimum.”

The report added Melania will travel to Washington DC as she is needed, but her primary focus remains on being a mother.

“Melania is very supportive of her husband and is fully on board of doing everything that’s needed as first lady,” a source said, according to the report.

“She is really devoted to Barron,” a family source said, according to the report. Melania, even during the campaign, never relied upon a nanny to aid for her son, she was spotted frequently picking up and dropping off the fourth-grader from his prep school, where tuition runs $40,000 per year.

The decision to remain at the confines of Trump Tower means security at the building will be amplified, an effort that will involve both Secret Service and the NYPD, an expert familiar with high-level security said, according to the report.

“That building is going to become the White House of New York,” said Jim Reese, a former Delta Force commander and president of TigerSwan, a global security company based in North Carolina.

“The Secret Service is going to have to keep that whole area cordoned off so that some wacko can’t get close and detonate a car bomb.”

Strict security measures at the facility are already in place – two of Park Avenue’s five lanes between East 56th and 57th streets are closed with barriers. Since Election Day, the area surrounding Trump Tower has turned into a traffic nightmare. West 56th Street has been closed to traffic between Fifth and Madison avenues, and shoppers at the building have been required to pass through a security checkpoint, complete with bag checks.

Both Melania and Barron will receive protection from an unknown number of Secret Service agents, in addition to the high security chauffeur services and armored vehicle that will take Barron to school. An advance team of agents will also visit Barron’s school each day in the morning to ensure the facilities are safe.

There remains a chance that Melania and Barron will move to the White House once his school year is over, but nothing is concrete.
