WASHINGTON (Diya TV) — U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan addressed the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum Board during a recent visit to India, discussing the key accomplishments that have further cemented bilateral relations between the two countries.

Sullivan described his productive discussions with Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. He highlighted significant progress in defense, technology, cyber, and economic collaboration aimed at fostering mutual interests and bolstering security in the Indo-Pacific region.

“The U.S.-India partnership has reached new heights during the Biden Administration, with landmark initiatives shaping our shared future,” Sullivan said.

One of the central points of focus of Sullivan’s visit was the U.S.-India Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET), initiated in 2022 by President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Modi. Under it, the India-U.S. Defense Acceleration Ecosystem (INDUS-X) has strengthened defense cooperation by bringing private-sector innovation and venture capital to joint efforts.

Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of USISPF, applauded Sullivan for his role in strengthening the partnership. “Jake Sullivan has been instrumental in advancing U.S.-India relations, from technology initiatives to defense cooperation. His leadership has brought the partnership to its strongest point yet,” he said.

Sullivan underlined that the Biden Administration is leaving the U.S.-India relationship in a strong position for future leaders to build on.
