SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — The House Democratic Chairman of the Ways and Means committee, Congressman Richard Neal, formally requested the IRS provide six years of President Trump’s business and personal tax returns, setting up a potential legal battle.
Jaswinder Singh, a New York City cab driver, says he is afraid to do his job after a passenger slashed his throat, triggering a car crash. The passenger ran away. Singh calls it a hate crime, but the NYPD has not so far.
The U.S.-India Political Action Committee known as USINPAC launched its California chapter. Lawyer Navneet Chugh will be the chapter’s head. The launch coincided with a fundraiser for Illinois Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.
And Democrat Sri Preston Kulkarni, who came up short in 2016 to win a Congressional seat in the suburbs outside of Houston, announced he is running again in 2020 against incumbent Republican Pete Olsen.
