MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (Diya TV) — Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced a new $10 billion digitization fund focused on accelerating India’s digital economy. Pichai said Google will be on providing affordable access to the internet and information in local languages, creating new India specific products and services, helping businesses go digital and using technology and AI for social good in health, education and agriculture.

BJP leader Sheikh Waseem Bari and his brother and father were in killed in an attack that police say was carried out by a Pakistani and a local terrorist, men who are believed to be members of terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. While the suspects remain at large, 10 police officers assigned to protect Bari are in custody as the investigation continues.
