SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Elon Musk is buying Twitter for $44 billion. The Tesla chief will take the social media company private. Twitter’s board unanimously approved the acquisition. The deal is expected to close sometime in 2022, although that will hinge on approvals from both regulators and shareholders. It’s unclear what happens to Twitter’s Indian American CEO Parag Agrawal but for now he will lead the company.
