WASHINGTON (Diya TV)  — Seema Nanda is stepping down as CEO of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). She’s being replaced by Mary Beth Cahill, who is being installed at the Biden campaign’s request. The DNC and the Biden campaign also agreed to a joint-fundraising agreement.

45 year old Amardeep Singh became the first person to face criminal charges under the Defense Production Act during the COVID-19 pandemic. U.S. Attorneys allege Singh hoarded personal protective equipment and sold it at huge markups. Authorities found 21,267 KN95 respirator face masks, 75,000 surgical masks, 176,104 disposable latex gloves and nearly 2 tons of hand sanitizer, among other items. His attorney said the feds have seized the stockpile, but that his client has “done nothing wrong” and has even donated PPE to fire stations and other groups.

With a sharp decrease in human activity because of India’s lockdown to stop COVID-19, NASA satellites have detected the lowest aerosol levels in 20 years over northern India.
