WASHINGTON DC (Diya TV) — India’s Ambassador to the U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu met Indian American Representative and Democrat Ami Bera to discuss global developments and ongoing bi-lateral ties among the Quad countries, which includes India, Australia, Japan, and the U.S. Sandhu also met with several GOP representatives. Recently, the countries have made progress on increasing the production of Covid-19 vaccines and climate policies.
India wants China at the negotiating table as both countries try to resolve its border standoff. A response from Beijing is expected before Sunday, The discussions aim to break the logjam between the two military forces.
The Indian founder of crypto currency trading platform Bitconnect is on the run. Federal authorities were about to serve 36-year-old Satish Kumbhani with a lawsuit in connection to an alleged multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme. He’s accused of bilking investors who funded the platform.
