SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is currently on a three-city tour of the United States. He’s already spoken to students at Stanford Business School and Silicon Valley’s senior technology executives on artificial intelligence. Later this week in Washington DC, he’ll visit the National Press Club and talk about the future of Indian democracy, freedom of speech, and economic growth. And on his final leg of the trip in New York City, he’s expected to speak to thousands of Indian American students at the Javits Center.

The Wall Street Journal reported that China and India ejected nearly all of each other’s journalists in recent weeks. Citing people familiar with the matter, the newspaper said India had this month declined to renew the visas of the last two Chinese state media journalists in India. Mao said the status of Indian journalists in China would depend on India’s support for Chinese journalists.

Nearly four years after an abandoned newborn girl was found alive in a plastic bag left in a wooded area of northern Georgia, authorities have identified and arrested the child’s mother. Indian American Karima Jiwani has been charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, cruelty to children in the first degree, aggravated assault and reckless abandonment.
