State Department hosts visa processing town hall
WASHINGTON D.C. (Diya TV) — For the first time ever, the State Department and several other agencies held a town hall with Indian communities in the United States on interagency efforts to improve visa processing. The town hall featured a question-and-answer session, and registered participants submitted questions they would like addressed.
Indian American Medha Shah is now Chief of Staff at the White House Climate Policy Office. Before this move she was part of the National Security Council and worked closely with several prominent Democrats .
Global tech giant Cisco announced it will start manufacturing in India as it looks to expand its footprint in the country. With this investment, Cisco will cater to the growing demand from customers in India and aims to drive more than $1 billion in combined domestic production and exports in the coming years.
