REPORT: Pro-Khalistan groups running online attacks

SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – A network of bots run by supporters of the pro-Khalistan Sikhs for Justice and virtual activists in Pakistan appear to have teamed up to launch online attacks inside India and abroad. Officials believe this is in response to New Delhi’s manhunt for separatist fugitive Amritpal Singh, who’s wanted for allegedly spreading social unrest. Even prompting local authorities to shut down the internet over the weekend.
India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met with US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on the sidelines of the World Bank and IMF Spring Meetings in Washington DC. The two leaders discussed strengthening the US-India economic and financial partnership. Yellen applauded India for focusing on advancing the evolution of the multilateral development bank during its G-20 presidency.
India’s endangered tiger population has more than doubled since 2006. Decades of conservation efforts appear to have finally paid off. There are now more than reaching 3,000 tigers in India, according to the latest census.
