Court rules H1B visa spouses can now work

WASHINGTON D.C. (Diya TV) – A huge sigh of relief for foreign workers in the US tech sector, a judge has ruled that spouses of H-1B visa holders can work in the United States. Many are Indian and South Asian. In the process, the judge also dismissed a lawsuit that was trying to prevent this move from happening. Tech companies such as Amazon, Apple, Google, and Microsoft were all in favor of this decision.
Fugitive street preacher Amritpal Singh posted a video while on the run from police. Singh thanks the global Sikh community for their support and calls for continued unity. The video emerged as sources in the police claimed Singh had returned to Punjab and plans to surrender. Singh supports a call for a separate homeland for Sikhs and is wanted for an armed raid on a police station last month.
The United States-India Relationship Council is calling on California Congressman Ro Khanna to apologize for criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying he interfered with the country’s judicial process. If Khanna refuses to say sorry, the group wants him to resign as India caucus co-chair.
