Neal Mohan takes the reigns at YouTube

SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) – Indian American Neal Mohan will be taking over as YouTube’s new CEO. The 54 year old is a senior advertising and product executive and Stanford graduate who joined Google back in 2008. He will replace Susan Wojcicki, who is leaving the company after leading YouTube for more than 20 years.
Indian tax authorities raided the New Delhi offices of the British Broadcasting Corporation weeks after the British state-funded media group aired a documentary that examined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in 2002 Godhra riots. The BBC news agency says it is fully cooperating. India’s foreign ministry has called the documentary propaganda.
Indian American Meena Harris, the niece of Vice President Kamala Harris is starting a new venture capital firm called Phenomenal Ventures. Nearly half of the fund’s investors self-identify as women and 12 percent as Black.
