SAN FRANCISCO (Diya TV) — Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is questioning the “merits” of the US-Pakistan relationship and said that Washington’s ties with Islamabad have not served American interests. The US State Department recently approved the sale of F-16 fighter jets and equipment to Pakistan for $450 million. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will also hold talks with leaders of Pakistan and India later today.

“Girls Who Code” founder Reshma Saujani is speaking out after her company’s book series was banned from a Pennsylvania school district. The Indian American entrepreneur says this amounts to controlling women by starting with young girls and claims the move is part of a larger effort by Moms for Liberty, a conservative organization that advocates for parental rights in schools, including oversight of educational material.

The University of North Carolina Charlotte is standing by its decision to call 911 on a Sikh student who was openly carrying and showing a kirpan, a large knife and an article of faith in the Sikh religion. The student was handcuffed and detained since sharp objects are banned on campus. He admits he prevented an officer from removing the knife that was strapped around his chest.
