Pakistani American woman in Chicago killed by ex-husband 
CHICAGO (Diya TV) — Pakistani American photographer Sania Khan was allegedly shot and killed by her ex-husband in a murder suicide in Chicago after opening up about her recent divorce on social media. Police say her ex husband Raheel Ahmed then turned the gun on himself.
Khan talked about her marital struggles on TikTok. She urged women to stop ignoring red flags and shared her struggles with her own family and some in the South Asian community, who did not support her decision to get a divorce.
President Joe Biden has nominated Indian American attorney Vijay Shanker to the DC Court of Appeals with seven others in the 23rd round of judicial nominees to federal and local courts. The DC Court of Appeals is the highest court in the nation’s capital.
It’s the 75th Anniversary of India’s long standing partnership with the U.S. India’s ambassador to the U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and U.S. Congressmen Ro Khana and Raja Krishnamoorthi gathered at the India Strategic Partnership Forum to celebrate the occasion.
